How do I complete the application

The candidate submits the application for admission to higher education study programs electronically via the Higher Education Admissions Service website: https://visjesolska.si/ on the eVŠ web portal during the open application periods. Completing the application for admission takes place in several steps, which are described below.

We recommend using the web browsers Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox to complete the application.

To complete the application, the candidate needs an email address where the completed form in PDF format will be sent after submitting the application.

To begin completing the application, the candidate must select the call for admission, which is determined in the first step.

Candidates should enter the data in the electronic application for admission in order from top to bottom. Confirm the entered data by clicking the “Continue” button. If you do not want to save the data, cancel the entry by clicking the “Cancel” button. If the candidate has additional questions while completing the application, they can read the attached instructions for completing the application and thus find answers to any ambiguities.

 

Logging into the application

You can submit the application for enrollment with one of the electronic identities (digital certificate, AAI account, e-ID card or smsPASS) or with a username and password.

Log into the electronic application for enrollment via the website of the Higher Education Application Service: https://visjesolska.si/ on the eVŠ web portal. After logging in, you will be redirected to the online application and e-signature service provided by the state administration. Within the SI-PASS system, you can use several authentication methods:

  • one of the electronic identities (qualified certificate issued in Slovenia, Arnes AAI account, e-ID card or single-use password smsPASS),
  • a username and password that you define yourself.

 

The application consists of 6 steps

The application for enrollment consists of 6 steps that the applicant must complete:

1. Choice of citizenship, call for enrollment and application deadline

2. Personal data, permanent residence and address for notifications

3. Previous education with which the applicant enrolls

4. Entering the desired study program

5. Attachments

6. Preview and submission of the application

7. Viewing the application and changing the application

If the application process was interrupted before submission, you can save the application and continue filling it out later.

 

How to check if your application for enrollment was successfully submitted electronically?

Log in to the eVŠ portal and click on the “Start application” button. In the SI-PASS system, select the same method of submitting the application as you used when applying. You will see “Your active applications”. Check the status of your application:

  • “Signed with certificate” (for applications submitted with electronic identities)
  • “Submitted/Electronically sent” (for applications submitted with a username and password) After successfully submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation message to the email address provided in your application. By clicking on the “PDF application” button, you can view and print the submitted version of your application.

If your application is in the INCOMPLETE status, it means that it has not been fully completed and has not been submitted electronically. In this case, you can access your application again, edit it, and submit it using the “Expand application” and “Edit application” buttons.
